March 18 content preview

This week David will have the most updated news on the quarry mining new Chief Cliff and one group's fight to stop it. He's heading up there this afternoon to get some shots of the cliff and see what else he can find. We're hearing the state Department of Environmental Quality might step in.
David also has a great story on the ongoing fight to save the Salish language.
Sasha, along with his usual roundup of cops and courts incidents, will have the winners of the Lake County Spelling Bee and a feature on the word showdown. He's also got the latest from the Rural Fire Board.
I'm going to be busy tonight, as the Polson City Commission is holding a hearing on medical marijuana and possible zoning codes to regulate the caregiver stores selling it. I'll have a feature on one caregiver here in the Mission Valley and all the news from the meeting.
We'll also have a list of the final filings for the Lake County elections coming up this year.
Can't wait for you to read it.
